Pup-sonality:
I’m Suga, a sweet, cuddly gal who always wants to be with my people and the other furballs in my foster home! My foster mom says I’m a loving girl; I love my walks, do well on a leash, and love the people I know and strangers, too! I love car rides, snuggle time, and hanging out with my older, calm foster sibling.
I haven’t had a chance to play with kids, and I’m not really interested in toys, but I’m a good eater, house-trained, and not the kind of dog who likes to destroy things. I don’t mind trips to the vet too much, but I can’t say it’s my favourite place to go. I’m used to someone being home with me, and I really don’t like the crate.
If we pass each other on the street, I’d love to say hello, and I’ll even let you pet me because I love meeting new people!
My foster mom says I’m an absolute sweetheart. I love to cuddle up with my foster family, but I’m also a good girl when I’m left alone for a while with my foster sibling. If you’re looking for a sweet snuggle bug who hasn’t met a person or a dog she doesn’t like, I might just be the perfect match! Apply to adopt me today!
Medical Note: Suga received a Pro Heart 12 injection on July 14, 2026. Pro Heart 12 protects against heartworm disease for 12 months. She will only require Nexguard each month for flea/tick prevention until June 2027. For July 2027, she will require a new prescription for Nexguard and Heartguard or Advantage Multi for year-round ongoing preventative treatment.
Suga just had surgery to remove a large skin tag and a few smaller ones and a dental procedure where a tooth was extracted. These skin tags may be reoccurring and her adopters must be prepared to have these removed before they grow too big. The Rescue had them analyzed and they are not cancerous, but they must be monitored. Being a small dog she will also require a proper teeth cleaning by a veterinarian (below the gumline) to make sure her teeth stay healthy and they won’t cause other heath issues for her down the road.
Donate towards Suga’s foster home and vet care!
