Bella is an adorable Pomchi bursting with personality, affection, and playful charm. This sweet girl is the definition of a loyal companion—she simply wants to be close to her people, soaking up cuddles and sharing in everyday moments. Bella is a certified lovebug.
Playful and fun-loving, Bella enjoys chewing her toys, engaging in games, and even showing off her playful side with other dogs. She has done wonderfully with dogs her own size but is not a fan of larger dogs. Once she feels comfortable, she’s happy to run, play, and even snuggle with her furry friends. Bella has an unknown temperament with cats.
Bella is house-trained, crate-trained, and has great manners in the home. She settles nicely when left alone for short periods and is easy to handle—she enjoys being groomed, loves a bath, and is comfortable being touched. She also walks beautifully on a leash and enjoys car rides, making her a great little companion for outings and adventures.
Like many small dogs, Bella can be a bit unsure when meeting new people. She may bark at first, but with a slow, gentle introduction, she warms up quickly and shows her sweet, friendly side. She’s also sensitive to loud or unfamiliar things (like vacuums or ladders), but reassurance and patience help her build confidence.

Medical Note: Bella received a Pro Heart 12 injection on May 7, 2026. Pro Heart 12 protects against heartworm disease for 12 months. She will only require Nexguard each month for flea/tick prevention until April 2027. For May 2027, she will require a new prescription for Nexguard and Heartguard or Advantage Multi for year-round ongoing preventative treatment.

All dogs available for adoption with Second Chance Animal Rescue Windsor-Essex come fully vaccinated, including lepto, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and heartworm tested (and are on heartworm/flea preventative while in our care). At adoption, adopters receive a 6-week free trial of pet insurance.
SCAR cannot adopt animals to the United States and we can only adopt within a 200 km radius of Windsor, Ontario. Please do not apply if you do not live in Ontario, within 200 kms of Windsor.
