Pup-sonality:
Tina here, and I’m so happy to say hello!

It’s me, Tina, I’m so happy to meet you!  I am a sweet, fun girl ready to make your day a little brighter.

I love, love, love my people and will follow them around wherever they go.  I like to be with them all day, but can tolerate a few hours of separation every now and again.  I do like my crate and sleep in it overnight.

I am house-trained, but may have accidents if I don’t get outside often enough.  I am not destructive at all, but I also don’t really get into toys very much.  I really just want human interaction and attention.  While I don’t really like water, especially for baths, a trusted human can touch me anywhere, for pets and grooming, and that’s fine by me.  The more touching, the better.  I haven’t been around the small humans very much, but have been mostly good around the ones that I have met, I just tend to jump up a lot (I’m just trying to get the best view), so a family with older people would suit me best.

I mostly like other dogs, but I sometimes take a little while to warm up to new friends.  I certainly always want to smell every dog that walks by, but I’m not always sure about them returning the favour.  I am working on my commands, such as “sit” and “stay”.  I walk well on my leash, unless there’s a really good smell or a new dog to check out, then I may pull a little to get closer.

If you’re looking for a companion to hang out with you all day and snuggle you when it’s time to chill, then I’m definitely your gal.  If you’d like to continue growing together with me, I think we’d make a great team!

Medical Note: Tina was given Pro Heart 12 on March 20, 2023 (this medication protects against heartworm disease for 12 months) and therefore only requires Nexguard each month for flea/tick prevention until February 2024. She is currently receiving Nexguard monthly. For March 2024, she will require a new prescription of Nexguard and Heartguard or Advantage Multi for year-round ongoing preventative treatment.
