Pup-sonality:
SCAR interviewed Sadie to see what her pup-sonality is all about!

SCAR: Hi Sadie, it’s so nice to meet you. What would you say is your best quality?

Sadie: If you haven’t noticed yet, I do have the most soulful, sweet brown eyes, with black liner and beautiful lashes (not fake, I might add).

SCAR: Fair enough, we have noticed how beautiful your eyes are. Let’s play a little game of lightning round. We’ll ask you a series of questions and you tell us which suits you. The first question is, house-trained or working on it?

Sadie: I do well in the house-training department because I’m so smart. My foster Momma says that I am her “sweet angel baby”.

SCAR: Do you prefer to sleep in a crate or a big bed?

Sadie: I sleep all snuggled up with my foster Momma in the big bed. I love to make tunnels with the blankets!

SCAR: Balls or plushies?

Sadie: I really like to play tug-of-war, and I love a good nylabone. My favourite thing to do, though, is to snuggle and be loved on!

SCAR: Walks or car rides?

Sadie: Definitely walks. I know I have to go in the car sometimes so I can see the doctor that keeps me healthy, but not my favourite.

SCAR: Dogs or cats?

Sadie: I like dogs a lot, as long as they are not up in my face. Cats, I’m not so sure about them, but I do love to chase those darn squirrels and rabbits, so maybe a cat wouldn’t be a good fit for me.

SCAR: What would be your ideal forever home?

Sadie: I would have to say a home where they want a lap dog, cos I LOVE to sit in your lap and feel secure and loved. A family who will bring me for walks and play with me and maybe another calm dog who isn’t going to be jealous when I sit in laps. But I don’t really need another dog as long as my family plays with me and give me mental stimulation and daily walks. A family who can love me for the rest of my life and never throw me away again. I am a pretty easy pup to love and I hope that there will be a family who will want to love me for the rest of my life.

SCAR: This was a great talk, Sadie. You sound like you know what you’re looking for.

Medical Note: Sadie was given Pro Heart 12 on March 20, 2023 (this medication protects against heartworm disease for 12 months) and therefore only requires Nexguard each month for flea/tick prevention until February 2024. She is currently receiving Nexguard monthly. For March 2024, she will require a new prescription of Nexguard and Heartguard or Advantage Multi for year-round ongoing preventative treatment.
