Pup-sonality:
Ralphie is a young boy just brimming with the joys of life.  He loves attention, snuggles very happily and is very attached to the people in his little world. Laps are his preferred places, even if he has to share them with other dogs! Ralphie is crate-trained, spending not more than 4 hours at a time in one, and not on a daily basis. At nighttime, he can be found snuggling under the covers with his humans (who describe him as a good foot warmer) or snuggling with his foster siblings.  Ralphie is working on his house training. He’s pretty good about using his training pads, when his folks are at home or not, not being a fan of cold weather.

This boy eats well, being very food motivated – his cleft lip does not seem to bother him. He is respectful of his home, so he is not crated when his foster family are out, however, he much prefers being in the company of his people to being left at home. Ralphie is a joy to be around. He’s a very sociable boy – his initial timidity with strangers does not last very long and he appears to enjoy being with other dogs his size. He has not interacted with children or with cats at his foster home.

Ralphie walks well on leash, loves all car rides and is very well-behaved before and after going out in the car. He also seems to love going to the vet and behaves well at the office. He is very compliant and has fair recall, but would benefit from obedience training to build on this foundation. This boy eats well, being very food motivated (he should eat with a slow feeder food bowl).

Are you looking for a canine chum that loves life, and with whom to enjoy loads of playtimes, lots of togetherness and closeness? Ralphie, with his playful and loving nature, might just be the fellow for you.

Medical Note: Ralphie has a cleft lip. There are no current medial concerns around this issue, but there may be extra care required as he ages.
