Pup-sonality:
Hello, my name is Jules I am a growing, snuggly pup with lots of love to give!

I am patient and calm when people are coming and going around me in my foster home, I like to play with any doggo friends and I do know how to play nice and share, unless we’re playing tug-of-war, then it’s on! I know how to “sit” but would like to do some more training so I can learn alot and put on a show for all of our friends.

Unlike some other dogs I LOVE going to see my vet, I know they are doing things to take care of me and usually I get a treat out of the deal, the car ride is pretty fun too.  I am house-trained and learning how to use a bell to tell you when I have to go outside and I am crate-trained for when my foster family is gone, but only for a couple hours at a time.

I don’t much care for my harness or leash being put on (what are those things anyway?), but with some gentle guidance and patient training I am sure I could learn to love it, they tell me it’s to keep me safe. I’m not so used to walking around the neighbourhood, but I’m sure I’ll start to enjoy it in time. I LOVE being outside and playing with my foster siblings! I learn pretty quickly and adapt well to new situations. I am sure if you had some house rules for me and gave me consistent training, I would fit right in in no time! I love to snuggle up with you or any other animals in the house and am a good girl when it comes to sleeping in my dog bed at night.

My foster family has a cat, and while I may have barked at her initially, we mostly ignore each other now.  She has cat business to attend to and I have so many toys to play with.  I really like the crinkly toys, what a fun sound they make!

I am a super smart, energetic girl just waiting for the right family to come along.  I look forward to meeting you soon!

Medical Note: Jules has been given Heartguard and Nexguard on the 16th of each month. She will require these medications year-round to prevent heartworm, flea, and tick infections.
