Destiny here! I am super excited to meet you! I am an energetic puppy ready to play all day with my humans and dog-siblings. My favourite game is tug-of-war, but I also love a great game of ball. If you get tired of throwing the ball for me, I will toss it myself to keep the fun going. Speaking of fun, I love to chew! I like deer antlers and other chew toys, but please be careful not to leave out something that I shouldn’t put in my mouth (I’m going to give it a taste!).
I’m still working on my house-training, but am improving every day. I currently haven’t had an accident inside for a full week! I need a family able to help me continue this training so that I can perfect my house-training. I have been in a crate, but since my humans are home all the time right now, I haven’t had to be in a crate on a regular basis.
I absolutely love other dogs my own size. With proper introductions to new dogs, we are fast friends in no time and we can get to all that playing that is so much fun. I also like other humans, but I like to go to them first, especially if they have a treat in their hand. I haven’t been around those smaller humans yet, so I would do best in a home with older children. There is a cat in my foster home that I like to chase, so a cat-free home would be best for me.
I like to go for walks and car rides and am a good girl at the vet. I can come when you call my name and have been slowly learning some other commands; treats are a real motivator for me. I like to snuggle with my humans and dog-siblings, and sleep in my foster family’s bed with them. My foster family says I’m ‘the perfect size’, not too big and not too small. I like to give lots and lots of kisses, anywhere and everywhere. I like to follow my humans around to see what they’re doing, maybe they’re getting me a treat. It’s recommended that I eat my meals from a slow feeder, otherwise I’m eating as fast as I can.
If you want to see a booty-shake, I’ve got you covered. Sometimes I’m so happy, a tail just doesn’t express it enough and my little bum will wiggle to let you know I’m extra excited. I love going for walks and need lots of exercise. When I’ve burned off my puppy energy for the day, I am happy to take a nap or chew on some toys. I need another playful dog in my forever home to help me gain more confidence and to have someone to play with. My foster family says I am friendly, affectionate, cuddly, sweet, loving, silly, and playful. I’m looking for a loving family to play with and shower with my love; it’s our destiny!
