Pup-sonality:
Daisy here, I am a shy little cuddlebug ready to find my forever home. I am small and sweet, and look just like the flower I am named after.

I am crate-trained, and truly love my crate as it is a safe space for me where I can chill, sleep, and eat my meals. I tend to hide when there’s a loud noise, so my crate is where you might usually find me when I’m scared. I am super quiet and almost never bark or make any noise, I’m almost like a kitty-cat. Speaking of cats, I do really like them, but if my forever home has a cat, they should be ready for some puppy play. I like to play with cats and dogs alike, really anyone ready to run around or wrestle with me.

I am house-trained but have had a couple of accidents which really only occur when I’m upset. My forever family will need to be patient and give me time to decompress and get comfortable, which may take a couple of weeks. Once I am comfortable, look out! I am one of the silliest little gals you’ll meet! I love to run and play in the yard, and if everyone else is all tuckered out, I will keep playing with a toy by myself which my foster family says is very funny to watch.

I like walks and will meet new people if they are patient and gentle. I am sometimes scared by noises or quick movements (those darn leaves keep giving me jump-scares), but if you pick me up for a nice, secure hug, you can take me anywhere. Speaking of hugs, I really like to be held by humans. It makes me feel safe to be snuggled and if I’ve had enough cuddles, I will find another spot in the house to hang out and chew a toy.

My long, luxurious fur will need to be brushed and washed, and my face should be cleaned often. I will shed quite a bit, but lots of brushing should keep my fur from flying around. I am super-duper soft to pet and I really enjoy it.

I’m not so sure about kids, they mostly just scare me because of noise and quick movements, so my forever home should be mostly adults or older children that are calm. I truly need another dog sibling as their companionship really helps me to feel confident and lets my personality shine through.

My foster family describes me as ‘easy’ to integrate into the right home as I’m truly sweet and silly once I’m comfortable. If you’re looking for a great friend who’s ready to play and cuddle and just be the best little family member in the world, then apply to adopt me today!

Medical Note: Daisy is being given Heartguard and Nexguard each month. She will require these medications year-round to prevent heartworm, flea, and tick infections.
