Shimmy Shimmy Coconut! My name is Coconut, or Coco for short. I am a very good girl and ready to find my forever home!

I am a snuggle bunny and love to be in your lap getting all the pets and attention. I also love to play with other dogs and run around in a nice, secure yard. I am fairly quiet but also very treat motivated so I am very eager to please when there are treats nearby. I know how to come when called and am ready to learn other commands.

I have a striking brindle coat, which can be hard to see in photos sometimes, but it’s definitely worth seeing in person, if I do say so myself. I walk well on my leash and get along with just about everyone. I have not interacted with cats yet, but given my calm demeanour, I could probably chill with a cat or two in my home.

I like my crate and mostly go outside to do my business. Being so small, it can be hard for me to hold it sometimes, but I use a pee pad like a good girl. I don’t really play with toys, I am much more of a social creature, enjoying my time with humans and dogs alike. I LOVE meeting new people, especially when they give me those soothing pets that I enjoy so much!

If you’re looking for a little Coconut with a soft shell, just know that I am a pet away. I’d be happy to take up residence on your lap and snuggle my way into your heart.

Medical Note: Coconut was given Pro Heart 12 on November 9, 2022 (this medication protects against heartworm disease for 12 months) and therefore only requires Nexguard each month for flea/tick prevention until October 2023. For November 2023, she will require a new prescription of Nexguard and Heartguard or Advantage Multi for year-round ongoing preventative treatment.
