Cherry Berry Bo Berry here! I haven’t had the best start in my young life so I can be a little slow to warm up to new people, but since being in my foster home, I have learned to start trusting humans again.
I am crate-trained and am working on my house-training but I will go on a designated pee pad like a good girl. I am super smart and know how to do all kinds of things like sit, come when called, down, fetch, and can even give you a high-five or fist-bump! I am ready to learn as many things as my humans are ready to teach me. Did I mention fetch? I LOVE to fetch things. I would probably like one of those automatic ball launchers I keep hearing about.
As a playful puppy, I definitely like to chew things, but am easily redirected to appropriate chew toys. I might sneak a sock every now and again, but only because they’re so tasty. I would love to live in a home with another dog to play with and keep me company. I am a good friend and know how to be gentle with smaller dogs.
Even though it takes me a while to warm up to new people and situations, once I know we’re good friends, I am as loyal as they come. I like to follow my humans everywhere they go and will stop & drop for some belly rubs any time. I like to give lots of kisses but I am very considerate and do not try to lick humans in their face. I can be a little difficult on our walks, but lots of patience and positive-reinforcement training will help me learn how to walk gently. I am ready to meet my forever family, even if it might take a couple tries to get to know each other. My ideal home will have a fenced yard for me to run around in with another dog and a good routine with lots of time for training and love.
