Pup-sonality:
Hello, my name is Becky, and I’m a super sweet girl. My start in life was not the greatest but I’m ready to find a family to call my own.

I can be timid when I first meet people, but once I know that I’m safe, I want us to be the best of friends. I’m still quite young, so I need lots and lots of exercise. I love going for walks and walk okay on my leash but I am still learning and need a patient family ready to help me gain my confidence when outside meeting new people, as well as someone who understands dogs that can be skittish around new people and environments. I really like to meet other dogs on my walk, but the people walking the other dogs can make me nervous. I like to sleep in my crate at night, but during the day I feel too active to be cooped up. I behave myself while the humans are away, but having my foster-sibling with me really helps.

I am housetrained and don’t have accidents in the house, but my foster family is never gone for very long. I can be active in the home, I really like to play, so it would be nice to have the space to do so. A good chewy can keep me occupied if I’m being a little too rambunctious. I love to play tug-of-war with my foster-sibling and like to play with all kinds of toys and being silly with my foster family, I love fetching the things that you throw. My size and activity level would not make me a great companion for small children.

My ideal home will have a patient and loving family, ready to give me the time and space that I need to adjust to a new scene, and a family ready to help me get lots of exercise and confidence-building. Once we get to know each other, I can start to show you my silly and playful side.

Medical Note: Becky is being given Heartguard and Nexguard each month. She will require these medications year-round to prevent heartworm, flea, and tick infections.
